MOHAMMAD Junaid's mother was led to safety from the blazing World Trade Centre by New York's brave firefighters and policemen. But 26-year-old Junaid's thank you has shocked New York. In return for saving his mum's life, the Islamic-American has turned traitor and bought a one-way ticket to Pakistan to sign up for the Taliban and kill Americans. Junaid left on what could be a suicide mission one week after his mother – an office worker on the ninth floor of the north tower – was among the survivors. About 4500 others were not so lucky, and lost their lives in the terror strikes on September 11. "My mother was in the north tower of the World Trade Centre but I still feel absolutely no remorse about what happened on September 11," Junaid said. "I saw the towers collapse but felt nothing for the Americans inside. I may hold an American passport, but I am not an American – I am a Muslim." Junaid offered his own personal jihad against his own country when in Islamabad, Pakistan, as he waited to cross the border into Afghanistan to join the Taliban. "I did not feel any remorse for the Americans who died," Junaid told Britain's ITN television network. "I'm willing to kill the Americans. I will kill every American that I see in Afghanistan. And I'll kill every American soldier that I see in Pakistan." Junaid's parents migrated from Pakistan.

There are 300,000 Middle Easterners in Brooklyn, NY according to an article I read. If 1 percent feel like this guy, that's 3000 only in Brooklyn.. enough for 600 50-man groups the size of the onew that did the WTC massacre. Is internment such a bad idea?

Well he is one less piece of xxxx in the US, and I hope that the piece of xxxx runs into a bayonet.

My more immediate concern is 'Minister' Louis Farrakahn and his ilk including Congressional reps such as Cynthia Mckinney - GA. trying to unite US blacks and especially black Muslims, the number is growing, to revolt against the US Government.

Click Here for an article about the Palmer Raids that deported dangerous aliens in the 1920's. There is an historical precedent for deporting dangerous aliens. We did it in the 1920's and we stayed a free, democratic nation.

I agree -- internment is not a bad idea -- here in L.A. I've talked to a number of Muslims who, while not endorsing the bombings outright, believe it's our Middle East policies, yada yada yada, that are responsible for them. The L.A. Muslims (yeah, I know, it's just a small sampling) are clearly as likely to back the Taliban as they are to back the Americans. It's probably time for them to go.....

Well, don't think too badly about Juniad. Sure he is fighting for the Taliban, bur he is on the Mossad payroll and is supposed to report to a contact in Kabul, actually, a South American of some sort, any unusual Taliban troop movements and, if he can, pinpoint the location and routines of OBL and 11 other senior Taliban officials/officers. So, don't think badly of this New Yorker and, please, don't whisper a word of this to any outsider!

Don't know about that. Super Pages shows a Junaid in Jersey City. On John F. Kennedy Boulevard. May be an urban legend, but who would benefit from it? Worth a check though...
