I'm tempted to give Chelsea a pass because she's still a youngster and was raised by wolves but the utter lack of maturity and insight she displays is overwhelming.

Most people probably would have been fearful of being harmed or even being killed if they had been in the proximity of the attack. Upon reflection, a mature person would feel a sense of remorse, if not shame, for feeling so distressed when others, sans bodygaurds, were savagely murdered while she slipped away with nothing more than a bad case of the yips.

Instead, Chelsea seems eager to embrace her "victim" status. She makes no mention of the fact that she maintains taxpayer funded Secret Service protection when she is no more entitled to it than you or I. If she is genuinely concerned about the ability of the Government to rebuild NY or pay for the injuries suffered by the real victims she should instruct her gaurds to assist in the clean up efforts or allow them to return to more appropriate duty, thus sparing the taxpayer the expense.

She displays her Father's instict to politicize and personalize every tragedy. Unfortunately for her, she appears to have inherited her mother's inabilty to express herself without sounding like a cynical, selfish nitwit.
