She visits Hugh on THURSDAYS, so you can hear her on TODAY'S show.
Just click on the LISTEN LIVE link from KRLA 870-AM in Los Angeles
(If you want OFF - or ON - my "Hugh Hewitt PING list" - please let me know.)
Clicking on the "Hugh Hewitt bump_list" is sort of like doing a "Find in Forum" for Hugh. Since he is NOT a registered FReeper, we created this imaginary profile for him, courtesy of John Robinson's wonderful new software.
Although he cannot respond here - that's why he has a RADIO SHOW! - ANYONE can post a reply To: Hugh Hewitt on ANY thread that you think will be of interest to Hugh and/or his listeners, and it will show up whenever any of us click on http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/fr/involved?group=81. Kewl, eh?
Please keep me ON Mr. Hewitt's PING list...he seems like someone who deserves a broader audience.

We will never forget 9/11, and neither will our posterity.

On the large version, the detail is awesome. Unbelievable destruction. Thanks for posting!
Michael
I think the American people, and the world, need to see Ground Zerothe way it really looks, not the distant, sanitized version for TV and tourists. They tell us they don't show us out of respect for the families of the thousands of people who were crushed, pulverized, or blown to bits. Maybe they're right, but if it was me, or my loved ones, I would want the world to see the slaughter of the innocents. Now you turn on CNN and see people-in-the-street saying George Bush is wrong to call the perpetrators of this massacre "evil doers," because that phrase is so black-and-white, so biblical and judgmental. So uncool, so unsophisticated, so earnest. So true. [Posted 11/1.]

Thank you for the ping, Ron, and the link to Virginia's website.
One more much needed patriotic journalist to seek out.
Hugh thinks so, too! For MORE Virginia Postrel, please go over to:

and
BUMP that thread about her new article in today's New York Times.
Thanks!
Probably because it's the same photograph, only forced into a smaller display size but still all the detail was there at 699K so that when you d/led the large version, your browser had already d/led it, i.e. it was not a smaller version.
How did you get that smaller picture?
It is the same image, http://www.artsnacks.com/wtc/wtc_military_photo.jpg.
I just used the image parameters: width=676 height=672 for the small image that I posted,
instead of the original parameters: width=1687 height=1683 from the image that I linked to.
For any MORE TECHNICAL details, please consult the HTML guru here on FR, michigander. ;o)

Yeah. That's right. What NTegraT said. ;)
I just posted a smaller version of it here so that you could see all at once - without scrolling. Posting the HUGE image might make it seem as if I were promoting a motor boat cruising along the river - on first glance.
