Vegas is tight but 100 miles south is not. Laughlin, Kingman, Bullhead City, Needles. People can zip between 3 states in half an hour. Mojave County, AZ is as corrupt as any in Arkansas. It is a magnet for criminals. At the risk of being called down for profiling, there are likely suspects there.
Interesting that you should mention Laughlin. A female relative of mine, plays a mean hand at Black Jack went to Laughlin a couple of years ago. She felt like she was in another country!
She just went to Vegas last week and will not go back to Laughlin!
