that does not deny the point i made about the f150 purchased on credit--it provides other americans jobs. jobs in detroit. jobs in the credit dept at a car seller. jobs selling cars. etc.

Then why is the border such an economic disaster? With one out of three families on welfare of some kind? About half with no health insurance? You said that Mexicans help the economy here, if that were the case the border area should be the best off economically but it's far from it, also Mexico itself doesn't have a good economy. I don't think a people that doesn't believe much in education can contribute too much to an economy, because they'll need more services provided to them than they can afford to pay. You can find areas with no Mexicans that have good economies. There might be other arguments for having some immigration but helping the economy isn't a good argument.
