EVER vote for a lawyer, which Earley is. Besides being a lawyer, he got his undergraduate in "religion". A noble vocation, but not for a politician. The VA GOP couldn't have offered a worse candidate than Earley. I'm suprised he got as many votes as he did.

Still, I don't think the Libertarian candidate had much of an impact on the top of the ticket. But, last time I looked, Reams pulled about the amount that Katzen lost by. At the same time, I can't imagine the Reams voters pulling the lever for Katzen anyway...
