Already tonight two states have elected Democrat governors.

Please can the doom and gloom. NJ was no surprise. Bush lsot by 15 points there last year and they elected Hillary clone Corzine.

In VA, Warner bought the election and basically ran as a conservative. He will have a GOP house to deal with. The RINO VA Senate was the problem here since they were the ones who caused the budget impasse.

The next four years are not going to be a cakewalk for slick warner.

Please can the doom and gloom.

I'm not a doom-and-gloomer. I am, however, a realist. Suggest removing head from sand and taking a look around. All we manage to do every now and then is stick a finger in a dam (couldn't bring myself to use the standard expression) but the direction is exactly the same.

Check out Newark-Patterson very heavy Democratic concentration -- let the welfare roll continue -- it's these areas that cost the Republican Party in NJ.

Warner wasn't buying the Governorship of Va as much as he was placing a US senate seat on layaway. Current Sen John Warner (R) will be 75 when his term expires in 2002. The boy Warner expects to slide into the senate on surname confusion among the voters.
