Love your screen name - it was a great movie - everytime it's on I watch it - and I'm not a Redford fan.

Yes, in San Diego - flags are flying very high still. In Mission Valley we have a couple of car dealers who fly the biggest flags I have ever seen. And ... even though I had shed a few tears the day of the event, I wasn't prepared for what I saw on 9/12 as I drove to work. There were those 2 huge flags flying at half staff. I just totally lost it. I'm not sure how I did driving at 65 miles an hour on the freeway - but I didn't hit anybody. I was shocked that such a simple thing could evoke such emotion from me.

Actually, "sneakers" was the name of my (now deceased) cat! LOL! I've never seen the movie. Yes, the attacks on 9/11 awakened the patriotism is us. It's too bad it took such horrible events to do it. This goes to show that, from coast to coast (me in Pennsylvania - you in California) pride in America is still there and stronger than ever.
