I liked to listen to the BBC, but I've heard they discontinued their world service broadcasts last summer--due to the popularity of the internet. So now I guess I'll need to buy a generator so I have power for the computer when the lights go out.

You can still raise the BBC at certain times of the day. (I think somebody rebroadcasts their signal.)

Several months ago BBC stopped broadcasting out of the Canadian station I listened to, but I did pick them up one night somewhere by accident afterward. I do not have a clue where. So there is some broadcasting going on. Maybe by roaming you can find a station?
