CNN or Radio Tirana?

CNN or Radio Tirana? You mean, there's a difference?

Shortly after 9/11, I ordered a Sony 2010 from Universal Radio and heard they are backordered 45 - 60 days. I'm waiting...

I liked to listen to the BBC, but I've heard they discontinued their world service broadcasts last summer--due to the popularity of the internet. So now I guess I'll need to buy a generator so I have power for the computer when the lights go out.

Great radio, great dealer. You'll enjoy the 2010.
I use a Sony 2002, Drake R-7, Ten-Tec RX-320, Collins R-390A, and about 20 other tube-type "boatanchor" receivers. Fun hobby, along with amateur radio.

You can still raise the BBC at certain times of the day. (I think somebody rebroadcasts their signal.)

As a public service, anyone with frequencies for good conservative--even downright extremist right-wing--frequecies, please post.

I bought a used 2010. They are nice radios! They don't die as easily as other radios.

Thanks. I haven't really listened to any shortwave in a number of months.

The stations seem to change frequency so frequently. Does anybody know of a good source which keeps up to date with shortwave programming information?

The Sony 2010, RadioShack DX-398 and The Grundig YB-400 are good radios. Be careful this can be very addicting.

People who fit that description are not allowed to have broadcast licenses in most countries on this planet. Try beaming toward Mars or Venus for their slant on things.
