I'm inclinded to agree with you. My limited theory: When the U.S. puts massive amounts of troops on the ground, I think is when the enemy in the states will begin to be deployed.

It is now time to activate all internal national defence. That means you! The citizens will need to defend our own towns.

The U.S. must deport ALL people with visas.Then shut down the borders, and allow our military to protect the borders.It may allready be too late.

That most likely would be the shortest fight in history around here. After Luby's, everyone I know personally, carries. Of course we are not allowed by law first rate weapons like terrorists have, so that might have a bearing on how long they last.
