If Virginians vote for Warner they will reap what they sow, they will deserve exactly what he gives them...Mark Warner is a Kennedy Clone. A walking double talking demoncrat. Stand by Virginia, if you vote Warner for governor you might as well break out a tube of KY Jelly because you just know what that liberal democrat will do to you. It's amazing to realize how dumb and gullible people are.

If Slick ( Warner) wins, car taxes will be around and I bet he will curtail gun rights.
and if for some reason Kaine wins death penalty will be gone VA too.

I'm sure the Catholic Bishop went as far as he could legally go politically. I think that any church that directly names and endorses a candidate loses tax-exempt status. 2 votes for Earley coming from this household.
To: schmelvin
yes, the Bishop did what he could.
But, African American churches get away with endorsing people.

So far, local media reports a very heavy turnout in Richmond, which is big Earley country, and the reports are consistent with my observation this morning when voting. Others I have crossed paths have had the same experience. GOTV seems to be working very well here, and it will have to if Earley is going to overcome Warner's NOVA advantage.

Hubby and I voted "Early" this morning and were happy to do so.
Our local High School does exit polling and I'm always happy to tell them that my 2 major issues are a Pro-Life candidate that defends Gun Rights.
I'll never vote for anyone that isn't Pro-Life....

Any word on turnout in Northern VA or do most of those people vote after work?

I voted Earley this morning and was pleasantly surprised--turnout at my precinct was lower than I expected (only about 150 voters at 7:30). This is good news, given that I live in occupied territory: Alexandria.
I'd guess that the fact that the local delegate is unopposed has reduced the local Dems get out the vote effort. This is a little surprising because Warner has plastered all of the median strips with signs for the last month.
