Ozzy's "Down to Earth" would be a much better musical investment.
But not Britney. Or that Enya... yuck!

"Tuesday, millions of Americans will make a choice that will affect this country's future."
WOW! Sounds important!!!
"Their decision will either support or reject the direction of our society;"
VERY heavy stuff!
"this is not about Election Day, this is bigger"
Bigger than selection of the leader of the most powerful country in the world?
WOW!
"Tuesday is the day Britney Spears' new album, "Britney," hits the shelves."
Huh???
You gotta be kidding!
"She boasts large sales to guys worshipping her like a sex goddess,"
What else is new?
"and even more sales to young girls worshipping her like a hero."
Once again, what else is new?
"This is a dangerous combination."
Yea, selling albums to young nitwits is VERY DANGEROUS!
"If Americans choose wisely and boycott the upcoming album, Britney
will be forced to recognize the error in her hypocritical ways."
You mean she might not keep going with her winning combination if
it doesn't sell? Might be right, except it isn't going to happen.
"These constant metamorphoses help her appeal to multiple audiences, making her money."
Yes, that's what she DOES.
"But the inevitable by-product is that Britney corrupts
the morals of America's youth, all for a quick buck."
NO, say it ain't so...
(What ELSE is new when it comes to 90% of the output of the "entertainment" industry?
"a performance on the family-friendly Rosie O'Donnell Show."
Family-friendly???
The writer of this article just proved that he is a moron.
(not that there was much doubt)
"We as a civilized society need to stop Britney and her immoral ways."
Oh yes, we HAVE to STOP her...you can see what the OTHER celebrities
that sell entertainment with sex have done to the country.
(As opposed to corrupt socialist politicians...)
"it's not like we'll miss her tremendous singing ability."
?????
"We must force Britney to select a target audience"
Yea, right. And just how is this going to happen?
"Are you a BAD boy?, ok you can buy her album..."
"Britney, either return to the wholesome days of "Sometimes" or
stick with "I'm a Slave 4 U" and stop catering to your younger fans."
"Ok Mr Flahive, whatever you say..."
"If you don't make a decision, the American public will.
We will boycott your records."
Which group? The bad boys or the innocent girls?
Come on, fess up, this article has GOT to be from the Onion or something...
It definitly should be posted as "Humor".
"this is not about Election Day, this is bigger"---Get real!

The soundtract from "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou." Go figure.
My wife just bought us a pair of tickets to the Oh Brother! concert in NYC in January. Alison Krauss & Union Station, Emmylou Harris, Ralph Stanley, Norman & Nancy Blake, Patty Loveless, Chris Thomas King, The Whites, The Peasall Sisters, Robert Neuwirth, etc.
It should be an awesome night of music, but I wouldnt mind if they let Brittney dance on a corner of the stage all night. (mike-less, of course)

That's right. If she wants to be a tramp, it's her decision. Just don't tell everyone you're a Christian. It sure doesn't bring Glory to God when you say one thing and do something else. M

...or just fading into oblivion and doing road shows of "Grease" with Jamie Farr and Larry Storch in Little Rock, AR....
you certainly have a gift for creating a vision of dystopia!

Unless they're inside the pillow.

Christians know other Christians by their love for God and by their "fruit." It's easy to spot someone who says one thing and does another. I feel sorry for her. She's been deceived by the enemy of her soul.

If you're looking for things to boycott, there are bigger targets than Britney. Bigger in what way? You got pictures?
;)
Shalom.

Alice spends more time playing golf and studying the Bible than singing these days.
For your info,buddy-boy,I went to his show in Savannah,Ga a couple of weeks ago and let me tell you he was the same ol Alice, complete with the guillotine and all the blood and gore you could stand. The Bratney reference was what I was telling Dan from Michigan ,on another thread ,was when he had a Britney lookalike come on stage and he impaled her head on a stake.Of course it wasn't as good as if it was the real one.Ha ha.
