Okay so the news outlets are not showing the Bin Laden broadcasts out of favor to the DOD with the thinking that the terrorists can use the video as a means of delivering orders. Fair enough. Well, yeah if that was the only means in the United States to get access to Al Jazeera.
It's not.
All you or even the terrorists have to do is logon to the internet and go to Al Jazeera's live stream.

Additionally, you can also see the network live on the Dishnetwork international service Satellite. So my point? What purpose does it serve for the U.S. News Networks to not show the American People the full video of Bin Laden.
This is purely informational and for discussion purposes only.
I look forward to everyone's thoughts..
P.S. (I've ordered Al Jazeera from DishNetwork....)
A most excellent and worthy purpose - not giving free air time to the rantings and ravings of a mass murderer who is begging for support from other insane types.....
Let's call it common courtesy. Who wants to listen to that meglomaniac jerk?

I'm not just talking about his murderousness; I mean that his calculation of where he stands and how much support he has outside Afghanistan and how he can motivate even Islamic States to help him, is waaaaaayyy off base. This is a guy who thinks he can holler "Follow me, men!" and everyone will fall in behind him. Where he once was a sort of evil genius who planned sophisticated things and pulled them off, he's now become a cartoon. At the rate he's going, by the time we find him and kill him he won't even go down as a martyr. He'll just be this sad little man who caused a whole bunch of trouble and got a lot of people killed because... he was nuts. |
