Actually its a coverup by a corrupt president.

Emphatically disagree, sir. It is the entire system which is corrupt, not any one individual in it. For there to be a coverup of this magnitude, the entire system has to view itself as apart from the people it governs... it has to be "us" and "them" for it to work.

The president is just a figurehead... as one Freeper (I think) pointed out, our elected officials are analogous to a high school student council... they really don't run the place.

Clinton may have behaved like a high school student council president but that dosen't change the fact that he wielded the power of the presidency of the US.

His actions are there to be seen, including his executive order suspending the federal whistleblower law so that anything observed by the Navy during the salvage operations was not covered by this statute. Does the word cover-up come to mind?
