Oh give me a break...Bush and Ashcroft are a little too busy right now to worry about conspiracy theories. Cut the propoganda crap until we get the current crisis resolved. Support our President!
To: dvan
The plane exploded and everyone died. Let's not use their unfortunate deaths to spread more conspiracy theories, okay? Enough with TWA 800.

The insufferable, one-trick-pony, Reed Irvine can't understand why, during a war, Bush and Ashcroft won't just drop what they're doing and bow to his wishes.
Goofball extraordinaire.

>Clinton issued to keep the truth about the crash of TWA Flight 800
Never forget one thing. It explains a lot.
The average IQ is 100, which is to say that the average person is an imbecile. clinton banked on this and it worked.

"Cut the propoganda crap until we get the current crisis resolved. Support our President! This "propaganda crap" may have a lot more to do with the current crisis than you realize. I, for one, will support the President...when his Administration supports the truth!

John Ashcroft is nothing more than a mirage. He might look good to the average American. Unfortunately, smell cannot be transmitted over the airwaves.
To: hove
Anyone else recall the two long-time commercial airline pilots who both said(paraphrasing) "There is no doubt in my mind that that aircraft was taken down by a surface to air missile...we saw what looked like a missile..."? These reports were quickly dismissed and both pilots had no comment following the release of their initial statements.

"...until we get the current crisis resolved." But, we've been told this is the "new normalcy". It will take years, etc...So we can't demand accountability, ever? BTW, what do you mean by 'supporting the president'? Is there some standard? It seems whenever someone questions policy, here, anymore, that phrase seems to get thrown at them.

Thanks for saving me the trouble of writing that reply!

Bttt! I just don't get these people.

BTW, what do you mean by 'supporting the president'? Bush and his administration need the people's support right now, not bashing by impatient conspiracy theorists. The crisis I refer to is not the war on terrorism being fought abroad, but the terrorism that is occurring on our own soil right now, good grief, the WTC is still smoking and we receive more attacks daily due to anthrax. Ashcroft's focus right now should be the country's security, rounding up these suspected terrorists before they reek more havoc, not chasing some tin foil hat theory.
To: ravingnutter
I think that everyones focus, right now is on national security. I think that many of us disagree what that is. With so many clintonites in positions of power, how confident can we be in some of the decisions being made about our "national security"? Many here considered clinton a threat to our "national security". Some of us still do.

Cut the propoganda crap until we get the current crisis resolved. Support our President! I support the President and his anti-terrorist efforts. I also believe that at NO time - war or otherwise - is there EVER an excuse for "our" government to lie to us.
In many ways, this administration is no different than those before it. The main agenda(s) continue on their path toward globalism and more and more government control of "we the people." And we have less and less freedom as a result.
Don't give me this nonsense about how "we're at war, and we gotta give up some freedom..." That's total BS. When the founders wrote the Constitution - which clearly delineates the things the feral government is allowed to do - and the Bill of Rights - which spells out SOME of the God-given rights which that government is specifically forbidden to infringe upon - they weren't exactly in a time of easy going peace. They'd recently finished a war with the most powerful nation on earth, and, unknown to them, they were shortly headed for another one. And they STILL wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Sorry, but that's simply the truth.

Bush and his administration need the people's support right now, not bashing by impatient conspiracy theorists. I think you mean "questioning and demanding accountability by his employers," not "bashing by impatient conspiracy theorists."
To: Jefferson Adams
I don't think we need to be so completely "blind sided" by the current crisis that everything goes by the wayside. This was still a Republic the last time I looked- not a kingdom where the ruler reigns by divine right!
We certainly have been misled frequently during the past few years. So what is so terrible about releasing reports of the investigation of TWA Flight 800?
This same thing has been followed from the Assassination of Pres. Kennedy, till today. Files sealed for 50 years or more to assure that no one currently involved will be around to answer for anything.

I thought the freedom to travel safely via commercial aircraft within this country was related to National Security? If there is something there that "should" be known- let's find out!
Don't keep us in the dark like a bunch of mushrooms and feed us B.S.! We can't handle the truth any longer?

btrr - the Iraq connection - "With bin Laden's TWA 800 and the Oklahoma City bombings covered up, the American public got sucker-punched with 9-11. The 9-11 attacks were a guarantee."
