If you read closely, ChemistCat was not calling for the restoration of the Ottoman Empire. Whether it was bloodthirsty, or how cruel it was compared to the rest of the world at the time is open for discussion. You can start by asking the Sephardic Jews who were saved by the Ottoman Empire, first from the Spanish Inquisition, and next from Hitler.. Anyway, Russia, as you know my wild and crazy russian friend, was and still is a kind and righteous land, throughout the centuries upto this day... Mother Russia was nice to its Ukranians, etc.
