He's about to have Rosie on the show to debate this, I think in the 10:30 ET section.

Please provide running commentary. This sounds like it could be fun.

But Mike has proof, apparently some video, of Rosie sitting on her rear while everyone else was standing. the notion that rosie can't get off her ample arse while everyone else does
is hardly news.
this should be fun.

I hope he has her on tape and that FOX shows it.

I thought she loved Bush? Oh sorry, that's right. She loves bush. My bad.
To: proud American in Canada
I don't see why she should be condemned for not standing. There could be alot of reasons. She said she supports Bush, she's vocal. Enough is enough.

Gallagher is playing Rosie's call from Prager's show. Man, was Dennis ever obsequious.

I ran the tape, and she's sitting at least up until the camera cut away from home plate. Admittedly, she's holding a camera and maybe a small child, but she could have been standing and done that (my grandma could roll tortillas with one kid in her, one kid on her, and still simultaneously spot another of her kids getting in trouble and swat said kid on the fanny without skipping a beat).

Good to know the war if over and Rosie 'sitting or standing' is now breaking news again.
To: proud American in Canada
I don't think she can get off of her rear - too much ballist.

Not a Rosie fan but, I think they're arguing a very fine point here. Gallagher has said, and the video backs up, the fact that Rosie stayed seated during the pitch. Rosie is saying she was standing and chanting "USA, USA" which was after the pitch. Gallagher seems like a blow-hard who has made a living doing a poor Rush Limbaugh imitation. I miss Hugh Hewitt in the mornings here in So Cal.

I don't believe it. Not one bit.
There is no way that someone got all of that "rear" on video. At least not in one shot.

It's about time that b***h got some more bad press!

I saw the pitch and noticed her sitting. Here's what it looked like: she had her son on her lap and was also taking a photo. From a distance on tv, it was hard to see, but that's what it looked like to me. (I'm no Rosie-defender in general, but just to be fair, that's what it looked like.)

Now now, let's give Rosie the benefit of the doubt here. Maybe she just couldn't pry her big fat @ss out of her chair in time, what a Bitch.

I'm sorry but I don't like Mike Gallagher too much. For one thing, he's done a lot of fear mongering since 911. I actually called into his show a few weeks ago because he was ranting about the F-16s escorting commercial jets who have reported trouble onboard. He was spinning some ridiculously simplistic scenario where the commercial pilot gets nervous and turns left instead of right and the fighter jocks take the airliner out. While the fighters would shoot the airliner down if they had to, that would only happen after the airliner missed a
series of commands, clearly demonstrating the pilot is not in control.
There have been other incidents where he doesn't know what he's talking about but that doesn't prevent him from blathering on in a nearly hysterical manner. The guy has zero background for commenting on serious issues and doesn't impress me that he's got a towering intellect, either.
I could give a rat's *ss what Rosie O'Donnell thinks about any subject. I think Gallagher is trying to manufacture a public row with her because she's an easy target and he thinks it will increase his exposure. They're both nobodies in my book.
