Justice Thomas is a wonderful, kind man. The opportunity I had to meet and talk with him was a once in a life time memory.

Thanks for the report.
I got two meetings, a lunch, & photo-op witrh Mr. Justice Thomas a couple of years ago.
He blew my mind by remembering my name over the span of several months from a single meeting.
Very congenial and tough-minded man.

Thanks for the report - the pictures are great. Justice Thomas is deserving of the award.

I have a few good friends who were also there. Glad you took the time to write this up for all to see. Thanks!

This is great. Justice Thomas has had his share of trouble, but with folks like you around to back him, he's got some really great support.

Outstanding report and pictures. With luck, Justice Thomas will become Chief Justice when CJ Renquist steps down. What a great gathering. Do any of you "inside the beltway" folks have an opinion on Juan Williams? Is he becoming a conservative? Osmosis from fox news?

I wish I could have been there. I have seen Justice Thomas speak several times on CSPAN and it is always very moving. I pray for his good health and that he is on the Supreme Court for a VERY LONG time.
It was never reported in the "popular" media, nor will it ever be, but a huge part of the reason the liberals went after him with such gusto during his confirmation (hard to believe 10 years ago now...) was that he was young and they knew he would be a sane voice on the Court for a long time to come. God bless Justice Thomas. Wish we had a few more like-minded SC justices.

Is it just me or should there be a hell of a lot more black people at a center for new black leadership? More then half of the place is filled with white people.

About time this great man was given his due. He is a true role model for anyone.
