Justice Thomas was absolutely wonderful. He gave a very moving talk about Thomas Sowell, saying that he's the only man in history whose publisher had to slow him down to one book a year! LOL

BTW, that's the Vice President's podium -- the whole danged thing is set up with armor behind everything, including the little blue curtains! LOL What a detailed and extensive ordeal it is to deal with the Secret Service for one of these events -- but they're FANTASTIC... and thorough!

I didn't get to speak with Juan, but he seems like a gentleman in person; and he was well received by everyone there.

I did get to speak with Rita, though. After I jogged her memory, she remembered meeting me outside 'Cheney's House' the night Al Gore gave his concession speech. I came away impressed with her as a reporter, but without her phone number :-(

The reason I ask about J. Williams is that he came out against attending the UN Racism Conference. He may be making progress. Great event. Clarence Thomas is a hero of our Republic. Dick Cheney is justifying our confidence in him. Let's roll.
