Australia's reputation for heavy drinking is not based on the strength of their beers but rather in the size of their cans.. As for the beer itself; brewed in Canada and shipped to the U.S. so they can still put the word "imported" on the cans.

Only some Fosters labelled beer is from Canada - eg Special Bitter, but the main labels are ex Oz - stick to those for the real experience.
