Funny you should bring up John Dean. I followed with some amusement the fairly recent law suit he was involved with. G.Gorden Liddy, a rather odd duck, accused John Dean of setting up the whole Watergate burglery fiasco bringing down Nixon. Dean did not win this law suit.

Actually, I believe Liddy's thesis (and that of the book Silent Coup) was that alhough the Watergqate coverup may have been engineered to take down Nixon, the burlary itself was intended to take DNC files naming Dean's wife as a member of a DNC-run callgirl/blackmail ring.
