"I would have thought it would be too hot from the burning fuel going up any elevator shafts, etc."

99% of the fuel burned up outside of the buildings, within the first 20 seconds or so. - What was burning inside was the carpets, upholstery, and paper, and the fire was not particularly hot, but very toxic.

The buildings didn't fall because of heat, but due to explosive charges that had been set prior to the attack.

Total nonsense. There were NO explosive charges in the towers. Where do the nuts get this idea from. Last time they tried explosives the building stood up.

I believe you are right. None of those metal beams looks melted; they were all detached or blown apart or left leaning.

Now, if those buildings were riddled with explosives, how long would it have taken people to set them up? Would they have been doing it undercover as "reconstruction" workers, remodelers, latenight janitorial staff, inspectors of some sort, a combination of the already mentioned or something else?

I think well nigh the entire security system/personnel of those WTC buildings was compromised. People who escaped from WTC #2 - the last to get hit yet the first to go down - were told to go back to their offices by guards after WTC #1 was hit and on fire when they had wanted to leave their building.

People may say that was because it would be safer to stay in while burning debris was falling, but even after WTC #2 was hit by an airplane itself, the PA system kept announcing that people could go back to their offices. Was it a computerized, pre-recorded announcement? Was the plan to kill as many people as possible in WTC #2 and keep them there for the collapse AND have it filled with firefighters and rescue personnel at the same time?

The airplane attack on WTC #1 already brought the firefighters to the vicinity. Then WTC #2 was hit and it could be the most quickly filled with firefighters while still theoretically (if that was how the diabolical schemers planned it) having more people inside and clogging the stairwells. That's probably why WTC #2 would have been chosen to be demolished first. WTC #2 was hit more on the edge and more of the fuel from that plane seemed to blow up outside that building in comparison to WTC #1, which was hit about 20 minutes before yet stood longer.

This is not true. The building reached temperatures of 6000 degrees, and the site is *still* smoldering!
