1.
/. "slashdot", it's a news site targeted at computer geeks with a huge emphasis on Linux, Open-Source Software, and freedom of speech.
2.
Yahoo! News, because they have good news, although their messageboards aren't that great (10-post-per-hour limit, no moderation).
3.
User Friendly, a Canadian online comic strip targeted at computer geeks.
4.
Trek Today, good Star Trek news there. :)
5.
Fox News, the comments on this one are obvious.

2. Soonerfans.com I'm in Omaha. Sorry about that loss over the weekend. Maybe well get the chance to beat you again in a month or so.
BTW, that N on our helmets is for Knowledge. :>)

www.freerepublic.com
AND
www.smartlifenews.com
Number 2 because I built the site for the orgnanization (my first web site ever - used Yahoo! Store platform). Please click and private mail me with comments. Not in the search engines yet and I'd like to get a feel from fellow freepers, especially if you are interested in health and don't trust the FDA!
I've been waiting for an opportunity to blatantly promote the site!

So help me, I still look up
lewrockwell.com every day. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe I'm a masochist. Maybe I'm just waiting for the day when Lew announces that it's all been a big joke. Or maybe, just maybe the prophet Rockwell is right and the blessed, the all-powerful Ludwig von Mises really is God. If so, maybe my humble clicks have earned me a small place in Misehalla, the Rockwellite paradise, where libertarian maidens and rebel girls will satisfy my every need at night and have their virginity restored by market forces every morning.
Also The Telegraph, The Times, and (alas) The Guardian, because a little anger is good for the circulation.
P.S. Hate the French? Here's a site that will make you hate them all the more. A little French will help, but if you go there often enough you'll quickly see that they hate you and that they are pretty disgusting.
