NO kidding...look at the 25Meg blast. Garner is toast. It even creeps into my old running ground in Sanford/Broadway. BTW...fishing was good at Hattaras last weekend. Puppies are in.

Very interesting site, thanks for posting.
Equally interesting - follow the link called "BUNKER" and take a QuickTime VR tour of the Greenbriar facility that was built in the 50's as a secure location for the House and Senate in the event of an attack. I saw a special on this not long ago, and can't help but wonder if we were premature in decommissioning it now...

Yeah, I tried that one too. I live in North Park. Not much left. At least Hillcrest will finally be cleaned up.

The magnitude 5.1 event occurred 15 km (9 miles) ESE of Anza, CA.

Mecca! I guess Anza is named after
Juan Bautista de Anza The name Juan is John, the name Bautista means Baptist, Anza according to the link is a Basque name. I hope Mecca, CA, doesn't attract any Islamic terrorists and I hope the Basque Separatist terrorists stay away from Anza.

Are there any good investment opportunities assuming a nuke blast does occur ?

Here's one I'm certain others have tried, but it will give you a warm fuzzy feeling!
No more Baghdad!

Oh Yeeeeahhh! That's a good one. Was that a 25 megaton airburst?
To: Harley - Mississippi
I wonder if we could get cooperation from the Saudis if we parked a 10 megaton near Mecca. Let's see if sand really does turn to a sheet of glass at that extreme teperature. Glass-encased RAGHEADS! Let the leftover idiots walk in circles aroud that for the next 10K years!

Yup...The Weather Channel for one. Not to toot my own horn, but meteorologists will be the ones tracking
the fallout cloud.....

Great, the O'Fischel Fallout forecast...
(for those in Raleigh...)Pardon me, but Meteorologists and forecasting is not a good thing. I'll have to check my Farmer's Almanac to see what they have to say about nuclear fallout in Autumn/Zone 7...
