Azmath and Khan were arrested the day after the Sept. 11 attacks aboard an Amtrak train in Fort Worth, Texas. They were carrying $5,000, box-cutters and hair dye.If they were planning on disguising themselves with beards, mustaches, etc (like were shown in Azmath's multiple passport photos) they might have wanted to use the dye to make sure their fake hair matched their real hair.
