The passengers on Flight 93 did save thousands of lives, but not from a hit on Three Mile Island. They were headed south (probably visually following the PA Turnpike) towards Maryland/DC. TMI is on the outskirts of Harrisburg, much farther (about 180 miles) north and east of the Somerset PA crash site.
