What's with the "trying to hide Cheney" stuff. Don't you understand why Cheney is in hiding?? It's for Cheney's safety - in case something should happen to GW. It's for our protection - so we won't lose 2 leaders at once. I just don't get it - why are people having such a problem with this??

That was the former administration...
The adults are now in charge, and they're treating the citizens as adults and passing along as much information as they can....it's very refreshing. Sadly, the "children" (the media and Big-mouth John McCain) are still whining that the "public" can't handle the burden of only knowing as much as can be passed on. They'd much rather we ordinary citizens were left completely in the dark. Thankfully, they're not in charge...

It's "O'er the ramparts we watched..."
O'er is poetic form of "Over". (ramparts would mean the walls of a fort in this case) Or did you know that and you were having some fun with us?

What is it some child or fool who said 'Trust and Verify?'

You are so right, but you gotta love Bush's style. And I do. It's a quieter style. Not so much barking.

It doesn't matter what the people "want", we have to have leaders to run this country. If that means one of the leaders cannot be in public at the same place another leader is - that is the result of terrorist actions against this country.
I think people understand that the top priority to keeping this country viable.

I fell asleep early and didn't get to see Hannity & Colmes. I guess I can go to a Charlie Daniels' site. I think I heard some of it on the SH radio show yesterday. Today, Wednesday, Ari Fleisher's press conference is full of idiots, one who criticized Dubya for going to the game. He said something like "I thought he gave up baseball for the governorship." Please, I don't think Dubya is going to join mlb. He was an old guy who showed no respect to the POTUS with his stupid question! Their job is so hard now because there are NO SCANDALS! lol

1965. My grandfather told me stories about 1965. Annandale HS must have been one room school house back then.lol
My wife was there in 1967, I was at West Springfield in 1969. Spent a lot of evenings in Annandale being a teenager. lol
