These guys look serious. A hospital has been infected with anthrax is what I'm hearing. Lady is very sick. Others could be as well.

Dang! Rudy looks good! It's closing in on midnight there and he looks as good as he does at 9 am! Is he even human?
To: KsSunflower
Wonder if the terrorists have sent out a slew of leaky anthrax envelopes to invalid addresses, just to contaminate post offices without getting caught. Why aren't we seeing even more cases of people NOT in or near mail rooms getting inhalation anthrax. This is weird.

Is he even human?
Doubtful. I remember hearing that as late as 4 weeks after the WTC, he was still operating on around 4 hours of sleep at night. That's not healthy!

Man, I can't imagine how jumpy we'd all be if this were a smallpox outbreak. Anthrax is quite "tame" compared to that stuff.

I wonder if there were any kinds of agents in their luggage when those planes hit that would have caused something in the smoke and ash and air to be inhaled? I am waiting for those reactions to really kick in with those workers and people who were down there and live there.

This is very odd. Its almost midnight in NYC. Its one poor soul is very sick. No other news and it couldn't wait till morning? I wonder ...if the market had been up as much as it was down today, would the news conference have held till morning? Maybe I am thinking too hard...
To: oldvike
No kidding! Eventhough he has offered an explanation for this press conference tonight, it is very strange to do this at midnight and not just wait for the morning.
To: newsperson999
Isn't this old news? Wasn't there a story on this case earlier tonight?
Gee whiz, even Giullani can be faulted with looking for face time, with no real news to offer.
I guess we can all go to bed now. Good night!

Her illness came on pretty fast. Thursday & Friday (10/25/01 and 10/26/01) she worked with mild symptoms (muscle aches, chills, fever), she got seriously ill by Saturday night (10/27/01)and was taken to the hospital. By Sunday (10/28/01) she was put on a respirator. She has my prayers. Let's hope she pulls through this.
