Only one small problem with your theology. America has never been "God's people." The passage in Chronicles is directed specifically to the nation of Israel, the only nation God selected out of all the nations on earth. Read the whole Bible and you will not find America ever having one covenant with God. Name the American counterpart of Abraham, Jacob, Moses or David.

That's why those ministers he used to invite to the White House said we just couldn't impeach him. It's in a chapter in that humongous Bible he used to carry around that the rest of our Bibles don't have.
