[history]
Fearing charges of religious persecution, the FBI for years has hesitated to investigate radical Islamic clerics in the United States despite evidence that their mosques have been used to recruit and fund suspected terrorists, present and former law enforcement officials said.
Even after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, "the veil of religion that has been draped over mosques . . . will be tough to move off," an FBI official said last week. "The Arab American community can become enraged and beat on the FBI."

I guess in the view of the FBI, it is far better to investigate and harass certain Christian faiths comprised of American citizens than do the same to fanatical Muslim sects heavily comprised of foreigners that harbor terrorists. This kind of insanity is another reason why we are in the mess we are.

Fearing charges of religious persecution, the FBI for years has hesitated to investigate radical Islamic clerics in the United States despite evidence that their mosques have been used to recruit and fund suspected terrorists, present and former law enforcement officials said. And our enemies will continue to sit back and laugh at our stupidity, softness, and naivete as they continue to kill us. Can anyone think of things we can do to have any meaningful impact on the insanity of political correctness that is so pervasive that millions of Americans could easily be sacrificed on its altar in the immediate future? It becomes more evident by the day that our government, even as currently directed by a fairly conservative administration, is so thoroughly hamstrung by PC idiocy that we are sitting ducks. It's very frustrating to sit back and watch it unfold and not be able to do anything about it. The Christian president who we elected rarely makes any kind of speech about this situation without at least once telling how much we love every group there is out there and how we know it's not their fault. I believe him to be a good man who is intent on doing the right thing as he sees it. I have also sadly concluded, however, that no one around him has been able to paint an accurate picture of what we're up against in a manner strong enough to open his eyes. This article pretty much embodies the point I'm trying to make, when our dadgum FBI is scared to investigate criminals for fear of offending someone's "sensitivies." I tell you we've gone mad. MM |

"If *I* ran a prison, this would be the only item allowed to be burned." There may be health codes that cite a violation for someone burning TP.

"The Arab American community can become enraged and beat on the FBI." Which would in turn lead to the American community becoming enraged and beating on the Arab community, then deporting their silly bathrobe-clad a$$es back to the sand dunes whence they came.

"At this time, I would like to nominate Lazamataz for FBI Director. Or Supreme Leader. Or something." He'll be competing with Gibson over at Fox News. If someone was to post the smokin' rant he just finished delivering, they'd be banned for life for violating two thirds of the rules.
Plus, they'd get enough fatwas dropped on 'em to... well, there'd be a lot. Picture something with lots of camels, detached schmata-kopfs, and a bunch of moldy falafel.
