[history]
Fearing charges of religious persecution, the FBI for years has hesitated to investigate radical Islamic clerics in the United States despite evidence that their mosques have been used to recruit and fund suspected terrorists, present and former law enforcement officials said.
Even after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, "the veil of religion that has been draped over mosques . . . will be tough to move off," an FBI official said last week. "The Arab American community can become enraged and beat on the FBI."

MM, maybe he is a good man, I don't know. What I do know is that he bowed to PC court rulings when told of the attack and asked for a moment of silence because he was in a school. He has had Moslem clerics into the White House to pray with him, and has been insistent on telling us at every opportunity that this phony gutter religion of a murderous bandit is a religion of peace.
A President who needs people around him to open his eyes to what we're facing isn't worth much to me. No offense intended to you, of course.

I'd like to believe they're professing their hands are tied while they're stealthily working in the background. I'm afraid, however, the Clinton Legacy of PC-ism has warped the sense of right and wrong in this country. It's more wrong, for instance, to wear fur than to blow up a couple of buildings full of capitalists. It's more wrong to look with suspicion upon a suspicious group of foreigners acting suspiciously than it is to incinerate of a bunch of innocent American children minding their own business in a church in Waco. "Don't want to hurt anyone's feelings...we might get a reprimand and have to sit through six hours of sensitivity training. But you had better not be trying to sell a pirated CD or fudge on your taxes, or your butt is ours!" Oy vey.
