NRA Wimped-Out After OKC Bombing

Thats very kind of you to take exception.

What would the outcome have been if NRA had investigated the bombing instead of cowering to the Clintonistas? What about Waco? What would the outcome have been if they had investigated the Jack Booted Thugs?

If doing nothing is all that needs be done to make evil men succeed, they are guilty.

Foolishness.Show me in the NRA Bylaws where they are obligated/funded to investigate issues like OKC bombing and Waco? Inspite of that, both David Kopel and Paul Blackman wrote one of the finest books on Waco ever written, entitled NO MORE WACOS. Both authors are active in the NRA. And Kopel is active in the NRA-ILA. Apparently you missed the fact that Bush Sr. withdrew from NRA because of harsh criticism of BATF by NRA officials and publications. See the March/April(?),1995 issue of AMERICAN RIFLEMAN. This criticism arose after Waco and just before OKC. NRA documented 25 instances of wrongful deaths caused by "overzealous" JBTs'. Everything from cat-stomping in Pennsylvania to dog-shooting in Kali, to wrongful arrest, physical abuse and wrongful DEATH!

NRA has been active in the Emerson case. NRA spent $3million fighting for Missouri CCW-the MOST important gun rights issue of 1999. NRA was active in the fight in Kali-granted we lost, but we just don't have the numbers anymore in Kali. Even though NRA revenues are approaching $200 million, the Board spends it's money where it thinks it will do the most good. Are they always right? Of course not.

Perhaps instead of attacking NRA you could list some accomplishments/objectives of JPFO?
