Jordanian border, no further details yet. Sigh. So the earlier report about a terrorist being arrested with a bomb like that may be true after all, then. Should be time to end this idiocy soon, but it'll probably not happen before Israel elects someone a little less paralyzed than Sharon.

I'm sure if the Palestinians had their state all this would end. [/sarcasm]

This is the second such incident. Wasn't the first around the end of September?

... A "radioactive bomb" is not necessarily a "nuclear bomb". Big difference. I'm not that concerned yet. It could have been just be a nasty ammonia nitrate/fuel bomb dusted with radioactive hospital waste.

Now that you're back, why don't you give us more information about this non-English language "news" site. Where in Israel is it located? Who runs it? Is it owned, sponsored, or connected to a radio, tv, newspaper, wire service? Thanks.

I don't know if this is a new story, something similar was reported by UPI a week or so ago.
They never did provide many details in that article, because they said they didn't want to put their sources at risk.
If Al Qaida were to set one of those bombs off in an Israeli city... that could lead to a huge flare up in the Middle East.

Do you think this radiological bomb is related to Pakistan's arresting the nuclear scientists? That seems to be the standard Muslim game plan, let the terrorists run wild, and then once they've crossed the line, go out and arrest them, and reign them back in. If that's the case Pak didn't arrest the scientists until AFTER they'd built the bomb. Some friend!
