Boy, is THAT the truth! I would also like to respectfully add to your wonderful advice, by saying...

Order whatever you want, but only eat 1/2. That way, there's no feeling of being deprived, and also less attention given to food.

In addition to that, I read, "Eating Right for Your Blood Type" and found that there was a reason that diet seemed to work well for my hubby, but not for me. He is an "O" blood type, and I'm an "A." The book contends that since O is the oldest known blood type, and the type man was when we were beating animals on the head and eating them as our main source of food, it would make sense that O's can handle high protein. A's, on the other hand, are an evolved blood type, that came along after O's in man's history, and started once man began to harvest grains, etc., and therefore have an easier time eating a combination of grains and protein.
