In particular, it would help to have an article focused on explaining "radius of total destruction", the inverse cube law as applied to nukes, and the other associated ways a nuke can do harm (EMP, flash, etc.).
It would also help if it explained how civilians can protect themselves against the initial flash, and subsequent fallout. Even the basics, such as do not look at the fireball, are completely unknown to most people. Slightly more complex stuff, such as wash dust off your food and take potassium iodide are completely unknown as well.
This is information we need to have (and get out there), but it's a sobering pause to contemplate that we have reached the day when this information is needed.
