Sorry to offend you, Jolly Green. Yes, the market is the market. As experts much smarter than you, me, my supplier, and certainly Wiley, such as Jerry Pournelle and many others have said, that market is, at best shaky. .NET may be really good, but, from my reading of unbiased observers--people who don't sell it--the product is bad. Really, really bad.

How is it that people that DON'T sell .net aren't biased? Are they selling a competing product? Is there expertise in another product? If so they are biased. So for anyone to review any technology they are biased, unless they are an uninformed user and then what value can they add except to tell other uninformed (ignorant) users how their experience went?
So which is it? Do these guys have a stake in other technologies? Or are they just ignorant?
