I have removable disc trays so I started with a clean install upgrading ME to XP. Need a modem driver that won't be out until the end of November but works great, runs fast, and installs printers like magic. Alot of my software runs in XP no problem.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to give up on my old Dell (1 year old); I bought a new Dell with XP already loaded. It works fine and does not crash. Do not know what was up with my other computer.
