Well said.

I agree with you 100% and support the War on Terrorism.

This bill hasn't taken away any rights of American citizens. Only the reactionary absolutists and anarchists find this bill troubling, because they are anti-government.

America is at WAR! Those who don't want to make any sacrifices in order to help assure victory in the fight against terrorism are anti-American in my book. They should be deported immediately, or jailed as subversives. Their rhetoric only offers aid and comfort to the enemy.

So those that don't want to sacrifice our freedoms for security should be jailed, eh? Why don't you go dig-up Ben Franklin and put his bones in jail then. You Sir, are undeserving of Freedom or security.

I beg to differ. This bill is a violation of our Constitution, specifically the 4th amendment. Are you suggesting that we trash the Constitution because we are at war?

Only the reactionary absolutists and anarchists find this bill troubling, because they are anti-government.

I find it interesting that person using the screen name Reagan Man would say such a thing. Reagan was by far the most limited-government president in my lifetime. I believe in limited government and I believe our government should adhere to our Constitution. I am neither a reactionary absolutist nor an anarchist. I'm not anti-government but I do believe I still have the right to speak out about something with which I disagree.

BTW, before you go there, I support the war on terrorism, I was patriotic before it was de rigueure to be so and I don't appreciate your implying that unless we swallow everything the government does, hook, line and sinker, we are traitors.

I can see why you would support such trash legislation. It is exactly because of people like you that I oppose this crap. I may be anti-government by your definition, but you sir, are the true ANTI-AMERICAN.

Your pseudonym is a pathetic insult to Ronald Reagan. It's obvious that you've never even read the Constitution otherwise you could not make such an assinine statement.

Article IV.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

I guess you must've missed this part.

I have seen you make many remarks on threads about this subject and this comment has made me decide to reply to you even though I have tried to ignore you.

To say that someone who is standing up for their rights is Anti-American is despicable. Shame on you for saying Americans should be jailed or deported because they feel liberty is not something they will give up. Aid and comfort to the enemy my butt.

This is America and you seem to forget the preamble starts with "We the people". You also seem to forget that little thing called the Bill of Rights too.

Ronald Reagan once said:

"Defense is expensive, but freedom is priceless.

Knowledge without action is futile. Action without knowledge is dangerous"

I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited."

I take that to say To defend America is gonna cost, but it should not be paid for with our freedom. If you know something is wrong you should act and if you act before you know whats up it can hurt and without a limited government we are not free.

Hey! WWII is over, isn't it? Now tell me why the voluntary sacrifices made by Americans in WWII are still being extracted from us TODAY?

"America is at WAR! Did I miss a session of congress where there was a vote? This IS nothing but an infringment of our unalienable rights granted to us by birth. And this administration argued to not have these provisions sunset in four years - if it was only about 'this war' than why would you need these permanent powers? Wake up before it is too late!!!!!

A lot of these fringe folks seem to believe that anything which protects the rest of us from them and terrorists must be bad -- for them.

You and your pal are PATHETIC. You should read a little history - like the use of Weimar Republic laws by Hitler. Add Hillary to this law and we will have the Fourth Reich.

Foreign nationals back-stab us and the first big internal move is to restrict freedoms. How about mass deportations?

Remember - NON-citizens do NOT have all the rights that citizens have.
