I love the "I have nothing to hide," justification for intrusive new laws. It is so myopic. First, you have nothing to hide now. Tomorrow, you may very well severely disagree with something your government is doing. Secondly, just because you are one of the sheep, doesn't mean that the rest of us are. We do have opinions and other things that we do not believe the government has any right or business being involved in.

I have said it before and it bears repeating

It scares me so many are willing to put the burden of proof on themselves, rather than the government. It is the antithesis of freedom.
