Nevertheless, when someone proposes to violate my rights, it is not my responsibility to offer them alternative means of acheiving their objectives before I can defend my rights. I don't owe the burgler an explanation about how he can feed his family without robbing me. Nor do I owe you an explanation about how the terrorist threat should be dealt with.
