I tell you, Ms. Delsoul, I'm doing my durnedest to pull against the Yanks this Series (heck...they shouldn't have even got past my Oakland A's), and the Diamondbacks are showing a heckuva lotta pluck and determination, but the Heavens seem to be aligned in NooYawk's favor!! Why the AZ Manager left the 22-year-old Kim in fer a second night in a row, I reckon we'll be debating that fer years...but it almost seems like AZ has been Divinely set-up as the FallGuy in this here drama!!

Sincere congrats to all the Yankees fans...but they still gotta beat either Johnson or Schilling in Arizona!!

And to think that with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, McCarver is talking about how the Yanks had scored less runs in a 5-game span than any team since the Black Sox of 1914 (not certain about the year)?!! This World Series already ranks up there as one of the Best of All-Time, IMHO!!

FReegards...MUD

BTW...did you notice Paul O'Neill announced his retirement at the end of the game by simply saying "This is it!!"

Theeeeeeeeeeeee

Yankeesssssssssssssss

WIN!

.....again.

ps- Johnson might beat them in game six, but Schilling will be worn out by the fifth inning of game seven and it's all downhill from there. Yanks in seven! I hope.

Thank you kindly for your post, Mud. I don't watch much baseball, but I root for the Yankees.

Well, I guess they don't have anyone else who was better. :-)

The Black Sox was in 1919.
