On the other hand, his notion that some cultures truly need reforming, notwithstanding leftist charges of cultural imperialism, is genuinely true. Witness the Aztec culture. They did human sacrifice. The bleeding heart revisionists of today ignore the bleeding hearts which were extracted from sacrificial victims in mid beat. That culture needed reforming.
Some would insist that the dictum, "when in Rome, do as the Romans do", applies only to us. I think that if folks want to come to the US or UK, they need to drop all but the slimmest of their old cultural baggage in order to help boost the greater good of the new order they have sought. Instead, we have Little Korea, the Barrio, Little Islamia in our cities; and there is little evidence that it is but a transitory reality.
