This God as a real estate agent notion is just a nonsense! How can you explain this racist idea?
The idea is not racist. The belief is that the entire world belongs to G-D and He can assign portions of it to various people. You can disagree with this notion, but I would hope that you would respect those who do believe this.
Suppose Bin Laden converted to Jewdism tomorrow; he would become inheratant of that piece of desert thing called cannan, and he will be an Israeli citizen in the same day. This disregards that he is an evil man, or a criminal.
Ah, but what is involved in the conversion? First, that he renounce all his evil ways. Second, that he make recompense. I could go on, but you get the idea. The conversion would have to be sincere and he would have to pay for his crimes before he became an inhabitant of anything other than a jail cell....or perhaps the nether regions.
People from the Soviet Union, who never been to a Jewish temple in their lifes, became citizens, over night just by saying they had Jewish heritage.
The perversion of Jewish law by those who brought these people to Israel is a significant problem. Does perversion of the law by the people who are supposed to uphold it invalidate the entire concept?
This whole Biblical thing is supposed to be simply a history.
