President Bush visited Thurgood Marshall Extended Elementary in DC today and announced the formation of the 'Friendship Through Education' program designed to link students from the U.S. with students from schools overseas with Muslim students. He also continued to comfort children by assuring them that they have voices and can make a difference in this war on terrorism. While Dubya was making the kids laugh, his mom was in Omaha, NE making an audience do the same thing as she shared stories about her family. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
Thanks to lawgirl for filling in last night while RWP shopped til she dropped!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: These attacks are from some people who just are so evil it's hard for me to describe why. It's hard for us to comprehend why somebody would think the way they think, and devalue life they way they devalue, and to harm innocent people the way they harmed innocent people. It's just hard for all of us adults to explain.

Let's assemble a collection of shots of the President with helpful signs behind him. LOL! "Problem Solving Strategies!"
I hope your shopping trip went well. I am glad to hear you were doing your patriotic duty in helping to keep the economy going! Ha!

I would just like to say that the pic in post #1 is the most relaxed and cheerful pic I've seen of Dubya since 9-11. It is reassuring to see him laugh and smile again.

Spent 3.5 hours in IKEA and got some great accessories for the bedrooms. Then headed to Woodfield mall and nearly spent as much in a store called H2O. LOVE their stuff!!! Had some great Tex-Mex at Chevy's (their salsa is incredible) and a well-deserved 20oz. margarita too.
It was kinda a scary ride home though as we drove through all the storm damage. West Michigan got hit pretty bad with heavy rains as roads were washed out. But it was still worth it!

Ah, SERIOUS shopping, sounds great. I was just looking around the house the other day and was thinking about how old all my furniture is and how tired I am of the look.
Maybe I'll go shopping, after all, it IS my patriotic duty ;o)

Thank you, as always, (though not always publicly stated), for your work on bringing us these photos. The pressbots will one day wake up and realize a way to increase their ratings and, therefore, there revenue, and, therefore, their own salaries....is to show our wonderful President during primetime more! Until then - and even after them----we hopefully will always have, A Day in the Life....of President George W. Bush. God bless him, God bless VP Cheney, God bless and keep every member of our government who are doing everything they possibly can do to work to protect our country and to fight the war on terrorism.
To those in government jobs who are NOT on the team - or who are acting against America - sabotaging these efforts - may God grant the "good people" in government the courage to find ways to let President Bush and his leaders KNOW so these traitors may be booted out of their jobs and replaced by LOYAL AMERICANS WHO WANT OUR COUNTRY TO SURVIVE AND OUR NATION - AND THE WORLD - TO WIN THE WAR AGAINST TERRORISM!
