1) Place terrorist back into container. 2) Weld door shut. 3) Slide container into water off shore.

He was discovered hiding in a container at the port last Thursday. "I'm actually a pickle." Bzzzzt. Wrong answer.

Place chip in the base of terrorist's skull. Let him go. Monitor all movements and communications for the rest of his life. Extreme? Well, another way to do the same thing would be to have a SPY SOMEWHERE in the ranks of al-Qaeda. Why don't we? The emasculation of the CIA by Clinton, the slow recognition of that emasculation by W's team. It should now be the embarrassment of the whole nation, but it is ignored in favor of speculation about right-wing unabombers. We still don't seem to get it.

This reminds me of the old TV show, "Get Smart," except this is the bad guy. When Maxwell Smart was caught by his opponents and asked why he was doing something suspicious, he would invent wilder and wilder stories, each one beginning with, "Well, then, would you believe..."

Seems like more than just a plot to sneak into Canada. Every container on that ship ought be closely checked.

The October 19 decree gives police wider powers and adds a new category to the penal code, making "association with international terrorism aims" a crime.
Did you notice this? I think half of our wimpy US congressmen would slit their wrists or die of heart attacks if such a law was proposed here. The truth is, we desperately need it, though!

Great post. This one is a big fish. It exposes the core of this operation, an Egytian operating out of the terror hub airports of Montreal and Toronto.

I want to know what was on the computer. Plans? Contacts? Research? The Koran on CD-ROM? Porn? MS Flight Simulator? Quake?
