No, I don't know how many food drops we did for the Japanese children. I'd always heard it was the Chinese children who were starving.
I don't know why you're so negative on these kids and on these photos.

It strikes my wife and I how cute those poor little kids are. It is a great idea to have our kids send them a gift and try to help prevent the brainwashing they are bound to get from the 'fundamentalists'.

I saw those poor little babies. Don't bother with RnMomof7. She'd probably have a good belly laugh over that piece of video.

Perhaps the Afghan mothers keep their children clean. One can be clean and still be starving. And sorry, I am appalled by your comments and your attitude. I don't see too much Christ-like compassion...

Florence Nightingale Pledge I solemnly pledge myself before God and in the presence of this assembly, to pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully. I will abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous, and will not take or knowingly administer any harmful drug. I will do all in my power to maintain and elevate the standard of my profession, and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to my keeping and all family affairs coming to my knowledge in the practice of my calling. With loyalty will I endeavor to aid the physician in his work, and devote myself to the welfare of those committed to my care.
Remember this?
Since you've been a Registered Nurse for 40 years, you may have forgotten your pledge. My mother graduated nursing school in 1957, she retired several years ago after 40 years of nursing--20 of them in public health. I've never heard a nurse talk like you do, or a born-again Christian either, for that matter.

(OTOH, if my wife would allow it, I'd probably try to adopt the little moppet....) Good idea. I'll check with "She Who Must Be Obeyed" when she gets back in town next week....

No, I don't know how many food drops we did for the Japanese children. I'd always heard it was the Chinese children who were starving. PSSSSSS Japan was our enemy during WWII...go look at some historic pictures of their kids during that war if you want to see "hunger and starvation" they are an overcrowded island..
To answer the question you try to ignore we did not drop food to feed the enemy children from eithor Germany or Japan..We also did not drop food for the Jews in camps
War isnt pretty..you kill people and break things..and do not be deceived all Muslims hate the infidel Americans..it is only a matter of degrees..
An American aid worker, who went there to help there in now awaiting trial for her life, because she mentioned Jesus. This is war not a B grade feel good movie..

I guess knowing that these kids are in the Northern area. They might be in better shape only because the Taliban does not contol this area. But that does not mean they are not hungry.
Why let them turn to pot-bellied starving children when we can prevent it?
We are not seeing pictures of other children in other areas because it is
too risky for the reporters to travel into other areas in Afghanistan.
As far as them being clean, they have plenty of water. But you can't live on water alone.
I am sure the majority of the have mothers and that the mothers do clean them up.

I'd adopt one in an minute. My husband might not like the idea, but I think these are beautiful children. Bet they'd like enough their bellies full at night, warm showers and a school which welcomes girls.

She's kidding. No one could be that heartless.

Hitler was once a sweet looking child too Yeah, but heres the situation.... we need to get to these people before they become adult males.
Im an old man, but Ive finally come to the conclusion that men start wars, men fight wars, and men cause a lot of trouble in the world. I dont see any need to bomb women in children. I think we need to colonize these people, much like we did with Germany and Japan right after WW II, and change the way they think.

You mean the areas where we are dropping food that the enemy picks up and eats?

Unfortunately, she's not kidding. She's been spewing this hatred towards these kids from the beginning on numerous threads.
