I think this is what you want to do. One thing I want to point out here is that your mind and eye will play tricks on you. If you are convinced that the drawing and the photo are the same person, you'll pick it. We're only presenting the photos together (and not in a line-up). So, there is more likelihood that we are making a mistake/error from bias.

When you posted that link, I looked at it. I thought it didn't match Atta because of his hair line. So, I figured that I could go looking at the photos of the other whackos from the DOJ page. Here's the coincidence that I saw.

By the way, your eye will draw conclusions where there may not be. So, although the comparison are a bit strong, I'm not going to totally jump on this bandwagon. The side-by-sides are very thought provoking, aren't they?

Good work, dude. Atta is the most square-jawed of the bunch. And he might have been less gaunt, and had a lower hair line back then. It would be worthwhile checking on the locations of the various people in custody and on the most-wanted lists. bin Laden DID mention EXPICITLY and attack on the "heart" or "heartland."

Atta has a projecting chin and an Arab nose, the composit doesn't.

The eyebrows and hairline are dead-on. A composite is a best-fit from memory. The fact that even some of the features match that well would be quite a coincidence.

But Atta has virtually no bottom lip. The sketch is of a man whose bottom lip almost looks like it's been pumped up with silicon.

And the guy in the sketch looks like he's got a broken nose, the bridge is really wide and looks kind of squashed. Atta's nose is straight.

Lemme get this straight. Several months ago, I went out on the web and collected a mug shot of Mohammad Atta and a composite sketch of John Doe 2. I pasted them into a side-by-side picture and posted it in this thread.

And now you are here today to tell me that you are dissatisfied with the available mug shot of Atta, and the composite sketch of JD2, and you want me to somehow produce or find another Atta photo (after Atta himself has been turned into burned-up disassembled molecules) and another composite sketch from a different angle. What are you, the armchair director who dispatches minions to collect pictures for you to examine? Go to Google and try to find the damned things yourself. That's what everybody else has to do.
