Valley abortion doctor Brian Finkel was arrested this morning outside his Phoenix home, accused of sexually abusing at least nine patients over an 8-year period.

The arrest culminated a yearlong investigation by Maricopa County Attorney Rick Romley, who said that "every time we thought we could wrap up the investigation, another victim comes forward."

For specifics, check the article "Bedside Manner" in the alternative paper Phoenix New Times, the same publication which nailed Finkel a couple years back in a piece called "The Terminator". Perhaps now that he's been formally charged and sent to the slammer, the leftist judge who let him go on with his unholy work will have a change of heart. But I wouldn't count on it.

Whitaker's defense of Finkel visibly startled some in attendance when he suggested women who seek abortions may be of questionable integrity. "Bear in mind the character of his patients," he said, referring to the thousands of women who have undergone abortions at Finkel's clinic since he opened for business in 1982. "I think it behooves us to act cautiously.

Finkel is disturbed (read mentally ill), but this blame the victim by his defender, Dr. Whitaker, is almost as disturbing.

Just become a baby killer, and you too will be given a pass on the "bear arms" issue. They'd probably even let you have a 50 caliber and a grenade launcher (saw one of those for sale in downtown Pittsburgh once - deactivated of course).
