Criticism of Israel can be legitimate and it can be anti-semitic. I am very critical of the ex-Israeli prime minister Shamir because he torpedoed a deal that his then foreign minister Peres negotiated in 1986 with Jordan's king Hussein. Under that deal most of the West Bank would have been returned to Jordan and the Palestinians would have become Jordan's problem.
However, a lot of anti-semites hide behind the "anti-zionist" and anti-Israel label because anti-semitism is no longer respectable, while anti-zionism allows them to express their hostility to Jews. Criticism of Israel motivated by legitimate concerns or ignorance is obviously not anti-semitic.
LAF.
That's not directed at you personally.
I understand that in the late '50's/early '60's Jordan gave the Palestinians sanctuary. King Hussein's father (Abdullah?) was very civilized to them -- until he found them plotting to take over his govt.
He learned the lesson of "Islamic integrity" right quick and kicked em all out of the country under penalty of death if they returned.
Might be diff now, but with the Pali's actions there and pointing out all the senior Kuwaiti's to the iraqi savages, which got them kicked out of that country too, they're running out of friends real quick.
Godspeed
